Marymount, one of the world’s renowned schools, was founded in 1955 for the children of international businesspeople and diplomats. Located in an upscale residential area 12 kilometers from the center of London, the school hosts summer programs organized by Discovery Summer.
The campus has the capacity to meet all of the students’ needs. The town of Kingston upon Thames is within a 15-minute walking distance from Marymount. Students participating in the Discovery Summer Marymount School program have the opportunity to practice English with British students in post-class activities.
Courses
Students participating in the Discovery Summer Marymount School summer program receive 20 hours of English education per week. Based on the English exam they take on the program start date, students are placed in classes ranging from A1 to C1 levels. After classes, students have the opportunity to practice with English students who participate in the organized activities.
In addition to English classes, workshops such as British tea party, Drama & Music, Lego Robotics, Magical Stories, Mad Scientists, and Young Film Makers are organized.
Students who wish to do so can take an additional Trinity exam for an extra fee on July 12, 19, or 26, 2024.

Accommodation
Students stay in 1-3 person rooms on the school campus on a full board basis. The showers and toilets are shared on each floor and are provided in sufficient quantities. The meals are of high quality and are prepared according to the preferences of students from different cultures.
There is one supervisor for every four students.
Wi-Fi service is available in common areas of the school at specified hours.
Activities
In the afternoons, various social and sports activities take place at the school, including football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, swimming, table tennis, yoga, badminton, dance, cricket, karaoke, disco, theater, art, and more. Interested students can also take additional paid horseback riding and tennis lessons.
Weekly, there are full-day and half-day trips, such as visits to London (London Eye, Tower of London, Thames River), Chessington World of Adventures, Hampton Court Palace, and more.
Airport Transfer
The school provides free transfer services to/from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports at the specified days and times.
