Humboldt-Institut is one of Germany’s leading organizations in German language education. Established in 1977 at a single center in Ratzenried Castle, the institution has expanded to 12 centers due to high demand.
German language education is provided throughout the year at the Humboldt-Institut Lindenberg center. Lindenberg is located in the south of Germany, at the foothills of the Alps. The school is a 10-minute walk from the tourist town.
Courses
At the Humboldt-Institut Lindenberg center, German language education is provided for all levels from A1 to C2. Students in the age group of 13-17 receive 30 lessons per week. Students are assessed through a test on the first day of the course and placed in appropriate level classes. Classes have an average of 11 students. Interested students can take 25, 30, or 40 private lessons per week.
Accommodation
Students participating in the Humboldt-Institut Lindenberg summer school program stay in double rooms with showers and toilets on a full board basis.
Students who speak the same language are not allowed to stay together. The school washes students’ laundry once a week. At the beginning of the program, passports and pocket money are handed over to the school’s cash desk. A €50 damage deposit is collected from students upon their arrival.
